Gimbers have looked after my cars for 19 years. Over the last four weeks they have gone out of their way to find a part.for my 20 year old car to keep us both on the road. Have just collected her all mended and at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Gimbers.
Great Mechanics. Highly recommended. Just picked up my VW T4. They spent time and effort cleaning and testing to find an elusive oil leak.....and they found it and sorted it out. I first took my van and cars to Gimber Motors 18 months ago with my own mechanic retiring after 20 years on my cars. Service and professionalism top drawer. Good people. Highly recommended. 5*

Gimber Motos in Penarth is possibly the best garage I have ever been to. The staff there are so kind, caring and helpful, which makes for a very pleasant experience. I live in Barry, where there are plenty of garages - but I much prefer to travel down the road to this place where I know I can rely on the service. The manager Andrew Gimber couldn't do enough for me during my visit; making me a nice cup of coffee, and sitting me down to talk me through the problem with my car. When I have taken my car to other garages, I have left feeling like I don't really understand what the problems are with my car. But not at Gimber Motors. Andrew was very polite and was able to explain to me clearly the problem with my carburettor - he gave me a detailed analysis of the mechanics involved, accompanied with diagrams and audio/visual prompts. A brilliant garage, with brilliant customer service and highly professional employees! Will definitely be returning again in the future. Thanks Andrew, and thanks Gimber!
