The Glendale is a centrally located hotel, bar and restaurant in Penarth. It is 200 metres from the train station. Inside the establishment has a relaxed feel. There is a small bar reception area as you go in. The restaurant was very busy. The food hot and tasty and friendly.

Great service, selection and, importantly the food itself which was of a very high standard. One other thing is that I dropped my wallet and didn't discover this until the next day, but it had been handed in by a waitress so I am eternally grateful for their honesty.
I always enjoy going to The Glendale. A real Italian feel to this lovely resteraunt and hotel bar. I especially enjoyed the Flamenco music and dancing last night. Thank you.
Lovely place. Clean comfy rooms and friendly staff. Just know there is no lift and you must walk up stairs to get to the room. Good news is it gets you floors on you fit bit.
