Nice place for a walk. Large lakes and plenty of wildlife to see on and around the water. Also countryside walks as well through fields. Routes are well marked and main paths are wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Free parking, toilets and a cafe.
Cosmeston Lakes is a lovely place to go. Lots of beautiful wildlife, swans, ducks, geese on the lake. There is a warden hut where you can buy seeds to feed the ducks. There are squirrels everywhere. A great play area for the children. A great place to walk the dog, or ride a bike or generally just go for a walk. Lots of open space. There are some facilities such as the small cafe and ice cream shop. There are toilet facilities and an outdoor tap to get the dogs a drink. There is plenty of free parking. The place does get muddy so wellies are a good idea.
A very nice place to go for a quiet walk and a cup of coffee in the cafe. Nice outdoor play area for the kids.
Nice place for a walk many routes around the lake. Cafe also good value worth stopping of for a cake and coffee.
The family planted a Memorial Tree at Cosmeston Country Park and were extremely impressed with the assistance given by Ranger Sharon Mullins in arranging the event and ensuring the day was everything we expected.Every local resident should consider planting a tree in remembrance of a loved one at one of the Vale Parks.
