Previous to coming here this morning I was hunting around for change to use in the pay and display machine. Good to see that the council are now offering contacless payments. I hate carrying change around with me and I always have my smartphone. I will be visiting the barrage more often now.
Convenient car park that provides access to cardiff barrage, its accessible with plenty of disabled spaces which is wide enough to fully open your door.This place does get very busy in the summer months so expect to be waiting a while.Prices have gone up over the years and at time of writing is 1 an hour (was 50p only a few years ago)Main negative is the width of normal spaces, its small and because of the location, it can get very windy. Im a local fisherman here and my car has been battered and bruised from all the doors catching the side of the car. Take this into consideration on a windy day.
