Really disapointed at the service here at Penarth Pavillion, just wanted to enjoy a lovely Sunday morning Coffee, was told would have to go out into foyer to find a table to sit and then go back and place order. I waited 15 mins for a coffee, then got sort of pushed out way as a lady came and moved Art gallery pictures and was literally shoved into a corner, i asked lady if she needed me to move and just blanked me, how rude!! There was children running around as if it was a playground, no one said nothing, felt sorry for waitresses with trays of food, it was like Picadilly circus, such a shame , as love Waterloo tea at washington house.
Penarth Pavilion - what a disappointment. Visited this branch of Waterloo Tea today, with friends, and we were all very disappointed with the service here. All of us have visited other branches, regularly and have come to expect a high standard of customer service. At the Pavilion today, the waitress did not know who had ordered what, had items for other tables on the serving tray for us, served the wrong tea to one of the party, and another of the party waited over 1/2 hour for a cooked item. The order was eventually cancelled. One of the cake portions ordered was very dry. The management of Waterloo tea need to review the procedures here, because if we were 1st time customers, we would not be returning.
A very tasty brownie, cake and coffee. My little boy enjoyed the provision of toys and a small seat too.
Delicious food including an interesting selection of locally baked cakes and an extensive tea menu. Food freshly prepared to order. Friendly and helpful staff.
Just had afternoon tea here, my friend had a voucher for her birthday. It was amazing!! Sandwiches we tasty and cakes were delicious. Chocolate and avocado was my favourite I will definitely be returning x
